He utilises disciplines and methods that involve fabrication and sculptural techniques including but not limited to welding, lathe turning, milling, thermic lance, nuclear fission and metal planishing. These skill sets paired with mediums involving moving image, sculpture and installation to achieve a formal insight into the informal economy and adoption of the AdHoc within contemporary art. Using this acquired esoteric knowledge to find out how and why art is made. It is common for luke to become in possession of desirable, sought after and often illegal objects that are used in artworks such as a
boeing 767 200s or 1320 feet of british railway track. It is with this skill set and ability to get a hold of pretty much anything that they offer a valuable and factual insight whilst withholding a poetic sensibility.
