Guillermina Farruggia
 

 
Guillermina F (BA Fine Arts) is an abstract artist and printmaker from Argentina based in London. She has specialised in screen printing and relief printing to create blocks of colour and textures that dialogue in her pieces. In the last years, she has started navigating the power behind the collage technique, using this media as an add-on to her current array. Guillermina F used to study and teach Colour Theory in University in Argentina (UNR), leading her to give colour a central role in her body of work. 
Her works are usually presented as small collections of same sized pieces, acting like modules. The uniformity of shape and size allows each composition to interact with others in proximity, as well as functioning as a whole on its own. 
Guillermina F uses printmaking as a tool to experiment with transferring images, textures and colours, often adding drawings, painting and collage, creating one-of-a-kind pieces with little to no planning beforehand.
